Animal Testing - does it affect your purchases??
I will not buy an item that I know has been animal tested....that's what I love most about Aussie hair products!!
(I'm also an animal rights activist & was once hauled to the pokey for staging a McDonald's sit-in!!
)
Does Animal Testing have any effect on your purchasing??

Yes, very much so. I just wish I knew more about ALL products. I changed our dog food because of the testing they do at IAMS.

Here's a good link with a lot of companies that do thest - they also have a link of companies that do not...

This is the list that I have printed out & tucked in my coupon notebook to refer to when shopping - if in doubt!

The last link is the one that PETA recommends....Even though I'm no longer a strict vegetarian, I am still a PETA member & support alternatives to animal testing....

Yes it affets our chioces, if I wouldn't have it done to my own bunny I don't want it to happen to any others!
The hardest thing has been to find toothpaste that hasn't been tested on animals, I know you can get tom's of maine etc but it's like £3 a tube! We finally found some at our local co-op which is 65p a tube so better for the pocket too.

Um, CJ what exactly does Iams test on animals? My dog does so well on their dog food (sensitve stomach) but I would hate to buy their food if it meant other animals were hurting.......

Nope, don't care. Better to test on animals than people.

just use baking soda....or even salt....I use both & my dentist approves wholeheartedly....they are both abrasive but gentle on your gums....Originally posted by britbunny

Darn it! Now I gotta start the search all over for dog food that King can handle. Those poor babies at the facility.
