Fact Or Fiction?

BELIEVE IT! It's Fact.

Indeed you CAN have takeout... but the variety is indeed limited.

And it all depends on your personal dietary needs & wants.

I've found several sites online (and you can do a simple search in the search engine of your choice) that seem to provide handy hints & such for when you go to fast food places.

First is: http://www.vegetarian-restaurants.ne...stFoodRest.htm

When you go here... check out the list of restaurants (not all fast food!) on the left side. I'd recommend printing some if you have the time & ink!

OR

Buy this book - it states it's only 6$... I'm TOTALLY buying it.
We go out on a lot of road trips & homemade trail mix only lasts so long... and gets a little tasteless after a while... at least, I just cant eat more than a pound a day! :giggle:

I've heard from several people who have bought this book that it's good... hell it's worth a try. I'm gonna see if I can find it in my local bookstore... I'll let ya know if I do & if it's really any good.

Also, http://www.happycow.com if your city is listed will show organic markets, veggie-friendly restaurants, & grocers that supply nifty foods.

Mmmm... a wendy's side salad (no cheese of course), taco bell spanish rice (no cheese) & nacho chips (no cheese) - all for less than a 3$ and I got me a taco salad!!
Oh & an extra large pepsi, easy on the ice at Taco Bell too please!
