Default Anyone shop at Whole Foods Market?

    http://www.wholefoods.com/

How are the prices? Do they accept mfg. coupons? What do you feel are the best buys there?

I like Whole Foods. They are a little bit more than conventional stores, but yes they do take manufacturers coupons. Their produce is much better than the conventional store, IMO. If we had one nearby I'd shop there solely!

I have been to a Whole Foods in another city once and really liked it. I would love to go again but it's quite a distance. They were giving out samples of so many things and the sales staff were very helpful.

If you're unsure about a product, ask the staff about it. I was unsure about almond milk, and they gave me a container free to try! They are awesome about stuff like that.

That's nice! The closest one to me is over an hour away one way, but I'll be somewhat close by it next month on a trip. I wanted to go by and compare them (and their prices) to my local health food store I shop.

Thanks for the info. I think there's one by me that I was thinking of trying out. It's a little bit awkward to get to during the week (as it's right off a major road that jams up regularly during rush hour) but I may stop in and take a look around.

I shop there occasionally. The selection in ours if fabulous, and the produce is fantastic, lots of organic at good prices. The bulk bins are a wonderful deal for staples for baking. We love the bulk granola.

Other things I find are more expensive than our other smaller health food stores, i.e., cleaning products, canned goods, cereals and so forth. But when I can't get what I want in the closer health food store that is where I go because Whole Foods generally has it.

If they take coupons, I don't know. I believe so. I think I saw one of their own ads in there with manufacturer coupons in it.
