Default Just a little something to share...

I had a nice moment today, when I served lunch.

    We had:
Homemade bread - 3/4 whole wheat 1/4 white - all organic flour.
Hardboiled duck eggs - from our organically fed fowl.
Smoothie - made with organic yogurt that I made from organic powdered milk, plus an organic banana, and honey purchased in bulk (I drizzled it into a canning jar that I'd brought from home).
Plus everyone chose organic fruit out of my big new fruit bowl.

I felt really good about the meal.

Isn't it great when you can feed your family all organic foods.

Gee, Cheryl, you can eat just about anything - most Americans just have a very narrow spectrum of experimentation. People eat ostrich eggs - I know because I saw it on Survivor!

Actually, my duck eggs taste just like chicken eggs- I think so, and I asked an impartial party for their opinion. And ducks are easier to care for in many ways. There's a big thread about ducks here: duck owners... , if you're curious.
