Earth friendly & frugal?
I find that so many things I do are good for the enviroment and good for me.
--wash clothes in cold water
-line dry
-using stainless steel cup for my cappuchino mix INSTEAD of Starbucks in a styrofoam cup.
What are some of the things that you do that help both these causes??

Buying in bulk helps a lot, and is cheaper too!

Reduce consumption and find unusual ways to reuse, or use up, products I already own.

~ Make my own cleaners ( I love vinegar and water)
~ Conserve electricity
~ I NEVER buy new clothes (only new underwear LOL) - I sell or give away my old clothes
~ Buy recycled paper - ALWAYS
~ Use organic deodorant, soaps and shampoos (I make my own hair and face masks)
~ make sure you buy products that are not tested on animals
~ Buy free-range meats and eggs whenever possible
~ recycle, recycle, recycle
~ buy used books or go to the library
~ if I don't make my own coffee in the morning, I fill up my thermos for 1 buck at 7-11 - I hate plastic cups!
~ beware of plastics
~ Styrofoam - EEK!
~ Buy organic tampons (I am looking into getting the Divacup)
~ plant flowers

Walk places when possible. So far that's only Wal-mart for picking up 1 or 2 small items, but it's a start.
Cut out unnecessary trips. I used to go see my mom on all of my off days, but she lives 15 miles away. Now I go maybe once a week or so. Saves gas, and gives her a break from me.

I HIGHLY recommend the diva cup -- really frugal and earth-friendly.
