~Not the same group who didn't buy anything for a year! This, to me, sounds like a group of people trying the frugal lifestyle for enviromental/consumerism rather than financial reasons. But they discover the perks of living with less!~~Constance

I agree, they did it because they wanted to and not because they needed to, but it seems they paid off CC debt and had fun too! Thanks for sharing
