    Exclamation Is your makeup safe?

I've had to revise what I'm putting on my face in the past two months and I found a really cool site that rates products in terms of safety. Shampoos, mascaras, lipstick, etc. Anywho, if you're interested in checking out the products you use : www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep The blue banner at the top of the page gives you the main categories... along this same vein i recently learned that lots of red lipsticks contain LEAD!

Im too lazy at this point to wear makeup regularly but i have made efforts to switch my body washes and my DS's bath products

Thanks for the link. I also had heard that the long-lasting lipsticks tend to contain higher levels of carcinogens than other lipsticks - translate to most are unhealthy?

In case anyone's interested---while I was out shopping today, I noticed that Physician's Formula has an Organic line out-just face stuff like powders and bronzers and blushes, so far. Moderately priced, compared with brands like Aveda and Origins, etc.
