The Evening News. They seem to run it every night on most every channel. It scares the heebie jeebies out of me.

I really can't think of one certain movie. When I was younger, I was a scary movie junkie. Now that I am older, I just can't take it. I am now more of a comedy type of person. I do still like thrillers though.

The Shining. I'll never watch it again. Most "horror"movies don't scare me because I know Freddy Kruger/Jason/whoever isn't coming to get me, but The Shining shook me for weeks after I watched it.

I am a horror movie junkie. So I guess that's why they don't bother me.

Now here is a list of ones that I have loved:
    Resident Evil
    Resident Evil:Appocolysp
    Resident Evil:Extinction

Any and all of the Halloween movies. Same with the Friday the 13th movies, and Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
    Loved the Hellraiser ones also.

    Hostel
    Hostel 2

The Hills Have Eyes. The old one and the remake.
Also loved The Hills Have Eyes 2

The Shinning, It, Cujo, Man's Best Friend, Carrie, Salem's Lot, Christine, Silver Bullet, Pet Semitary, Rose Red, The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer , Devil's Rejects, Land of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the living dead.

There are some that are listed as horror movies, that I think were just good action movies, like, Underworld, Underworld Evolution, All of the Blade movies,
The Alien movies and The Predator movies.

As you can tell, we like horror movies in this house!

The first Halloween movie did me in. All through jr high I would have dreams of looking down at myself in a coffin. So the two combined did me in.

The Night of the Hunter (mid 1950s with Robert Mitchum) is a psychological drama that I've only been able to watch once. There's a really creepy scene in it that really bothered me.

I got really freaked out by The Exorcist the first time I saw it. Now I can't get enough of it. I don't really get scared out of my seat by alot of old horror flicks. The new ones are utterly disgusting, though, like the Saw series.

I love movies where people get all hacked up by chainsaws and stuff, with zombies in it that eat off parts of people's heads and necks...

the kind of movies that make you squirm in your seat and wish you hadn't eaten that spaghetti for dinner.

I remember I saw 'Dawn of the Dead' one night and the part where they were in the van and the person gets cut into two by the chain saw...I was like, 'Wicked!'

I love scary movies! I have a collection that I keep adding to. However most do not scare me anymore. ButI one movie, or set of movies, that still give me the creeps is Halloween. Michael scares the H*** out of me. I do not know why but he always has. But you know what? I never miss any of the movies when they are on but I will not buy them.
