hallowe'en time!!!
ok this is MY favourite holiday (next to thxgiving... lol).
I have finally re-found my motivation for being crafty & decorative (thanks Moor!)
so I'm going to decorate the house today w/our hallowe'en stuff we've got.
sure this implies I gotta clean some too.
BUT, all for a fun reason.
Anyone else already have their decorations up and around?

I love decorating... I hate the realization I can't put anything out until I finish cleaning the house out... and to think I was already working overtime trying to get the house ready for Thanksgiving so I can put the tree up for Yule...
I have my outside decorations... and window clings. I think I am going to have to hold off on the inside stuff this year. Still recovering from surgery and still pushing myself more than I should.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I have mine out also!! We always enjoy Halloween with the kids. I do a Halloween supper for the grandkids and some of their friends each year(did it for my own kids also)and we make crafty foods. This goes over really well.I have been trying to get the entry rooms, the parlor and the dining room decorated for this.Having to drag everything up from the basement is a pain though!!

I have some window decals from last year that I'll hang up. It just means that my anniversary is coming up since we got married on Halloween.

I decided I was going to also get some killer decorations for outside beneath my window in the dirt. I was debating making some tombstones out of cereal boxes but my craft level = crap. We don't have many trees in our yard to rake leaves and put them in one of those colorful garbage bags with the face on them, so I need to be a bit more creative.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

For those pumpkins that you fill with leaves, I use paper. I crumble it up and it makes a better looking pumpkin. Do it for the giant spider also.
I am not doing that this year.
I am thinking of taking dd/18's manniquin heads that she used in cosmetology and putting some fake blood on them and tossing them out in the yard. I have one of those life size Barbies that I was going to put a fake knife in her hand and some fake blood on. Not sure about doing that, but have been. Let me know what you think.
We have a ghost and a pumpkin in the tree out front. I have one of those lighted spiderweb's with a big spider in it.
