Inexpensive Halloween costume for boys
With money being tight and time tight also (my mother in law usually makes our costumes but my sister in law is getting married in a month and we all just don't have the time this year she is able to make my little princess a princess dress) but I found a football jersey at Salvation Army of my kids favorite college football team and they decided that they both (boys ages 9 and 8) would be qb's for Halloween. The younger one is using his favorite pro team jersey that he already had and sports pants they already own and football shoulder pads that we bought on clearence last year for like $7 each instead of $30 each. We'll probably use some makeup and make eyeblack for them that night also.

What a great, frugal costume! I bet they'll both look terrific.
