My little boy (13 months) is going as a pirate. He picked it out himself at Toys R Us. It wasn't too expensive, and I figured your first trick-or-treat only happens once! Hehehe, unfortunately for him, he might be able to take a few licks from a few lollipops--but that's all the candy he's getting. His older cousin and I will divide up the rest.
I have to dress as the Lady in Black for a ghost tour on the 30th, so I'm just wearing that costume if I make it to my friend's Halloween party afterwards. For trick-or-treat, though, I'm either reusing last year's flapper outfit, or wearing one of my gothy dresses and a fancy witch's hat I got on clearance last year for $1.50, hehe.

I bought my little grandson a costume last year marked down to a dollar! It is Batman, he is three years old and just loves it! We are going to a Halloween masquerade ball this year- I bought two Grecian outfits last year for it- both were a dollar.

I found Woody from Toy Story today for the little one, but thought it was a little high. I think we are going to check around for one this weekend.

The boys don't dress up anymore, Em is going to be a dead bride or something of that sort. We got a black bridesmaid dress with a small train on ebay for 4.99 plus shipping - it's perfect! We are making a black veil, we got the pieces for it for 2.47. A couple years ago she was a regular bride & we hot glued flowers to a pumpkin so it looked like she was carrying a bouqet - we are going to spray the flowers black & dark grey so she can reuse it.

My DD is working at a nailsalon/school so a "Jersey Girl". She has a Leoperd print dress, leggings.very long nails,a gawdy bag,a hair lift, and will do her base like a spray tan. We have black chunky high heels but the salon jury is out on wearing them,. (hair splinters in open toes shoes?????)
Ds was talking about doing the Mad Hatter like Johnny Depp??

At least w/ the sewing patterns, you can make the costumes longer if you wanted to.
