Question Favourite costume at your door tonight? (Halloween 2011)

We hit our average of 15 kids tonight but this year the trick or treaters were all over 12 yrs old. (Hard to give away the McDonald's coupons I had purchased) I seemed to have over bought on the candy and will need to mail the coupons to friends with children under 12 yrs old. Lucky buggers - theres a lot of them!

I think my favourite costume was a boy dressed as a chef. Had the official chefs jacket, tall white hat and huge Italiano moustache.

What was your favourite costume seen tonight?

Since I only had 2 trick or treater's - they were equally cute! A darling 18 month old turtle and a sweet 6 week old devil.

My favorite costumes were a Captain America with shield (original costume, not movie), and a shark.

We had more trick or treaters than usual. I figure because of the economy. I think my favorite was the 2 yr. old frankenstein-flat top head and green face.

My parents always average around 200 Trick or Treaters. This year was closer to 250. There were so many great costumes this year! The little ones were adorable! We saw a Twister gameboard, Elmo, Mario and Luigi, and a Puffle, amongst many others.

However, I did not like to see so many older ones who just threw on some sports clothes (or fishnet stockings, heels and a skirt), talking on cell phones come up to the house. Guys very muscular and about 17. There were a LOT of them this year.

I definitely had more kids this year then I typically do. I would say last year I had about 20 and this year I had about 35. My favorite costume was a curious little monkey on my front porch named George. :-)

I would have to say that it was an older kiddo that had made a robot head out of a cardboard box complete w/ red flashing eyes- he looked awesome.
