I used to love them when I was younger but now I have some difficulty walking sometimes due to my hip being bad so I can't take the chance of having some kind of spongy floor or having to crawl through anything. I just satisfy myself with some scary movies and bag of microwave popcorn on Halloween.

I do, I love to go to "Terror On The Square" ... It's a good one done by a former Hollywood special effects artist...It's an old Mortuary on the square... I love it and we'll be going this year too !

Give it clean water. And feed it fresh air.
Grow a forest. Protect it from axes that hack.

DH's battalion puts up five houses on post. They are run by the single soldiers. We had so much fun last year and even dd had a blast so we are going again this year. Hopefully they can scare this baby out of me! LOL
We go to a haunted hayride every year. We take our two kids a however many of their friends we can fit in the vehicle(s).
We also are going to a corn maze this year. It is in total darkness and suppose to be really cool.
The zoo also does ZooBoo, complete with a haunted train ride that we go to every year. Since we are zoo members we can get into the ZooBoo for only $4 per person. It is so much fun and well worth it.
I don't go to the normal haunted houses, (don't watch scary movies or ride rollar coasters either), however, I have been through some neat "real" haunted places such as Waverly. That was really neat. No one jumping out at you just lots of history and possibilities.
The last one that my family we went to was down in myrtle beach the Ripley's Haunted House. That place was so scarry that we ran out the side door and down the stairs and we were gone!!! We laugh about it still today boy what a bunch of "red necks" from the northern ny who could not go through it. We are going back to myrtle beach this year in Feb. and we ARE NOT going back to that haunted house.
I have never gone to a haunted house, and I never will.
True story:
I know a woman who went to one of these haunted houses. At one point, a guy threw a hatchet. It got her in the back of the head and she had to be rushed to the emergency room. She needed several stitches. Creepy!
