    Talking Detergent bottle pumpkins

These sound cute, unfortunately there's no picture.

Recycle your orange laundry detergent or juice jugs for fun and whimsical pumpkins.

    Steps:

    1. Remove all labels from jugs and let dry.

    2. Paint cap green if needed.

    3. Cut leaves from a brown paper bag and sponge paint them with fall colors.

    4. Make curls with brown pipe cleaners. Wrap cleaner around a pencil and gently remove pencil.

    5. Paint face on side of jug with acrylic paint or permanent marker.

    6. Glue leaves and curls all around handle and lid.

    7. Attach a big raffia or bright ribbon bow to the top.

    Tips:
Fill jug about one-third full of sand and place along your walkway or steps.

Use a small straw hat found at hobby stores for a boy pumpkin, or decorate a lacy hat with sunflowers for a girl pumpkin.

Why not use it for a door stop too.
I already use a laundry soap jug full
of water as a door stop.
Now I can decorate it! ...............
    Thanks great idea!
