Police will go door to door, checking the status of known sex offenders. If the person isn't home, they'll hang a red notice on the doorknob, letting neighbors know who lives there.
I heard on the news they are having a place for all sex offenders to go so this way all the kids will be safe & if they do not show up the police will be @ there door. It's not a Halloween party for them. They are not allowed to hand-out candy to kids or take kids Trick or treating.

Good! I wonder if NH has such a law.

When we brought our kids out, DH wanted to hit a side road that had a bunch of houses lit up- but we never got a chance to hit because it's always so cold out. I told him no freaking way because one of the 2 registered offenders in my town lives up there and I don't know which house it is. That changed his mind awfully quick

Seems to me most parents go with their kids trick or treating or should anyways. What I'd like to see is something that will protect kids 365 days a year from these pervs. I'd like to wipe them off the face of the earth but society isn't ready/ willing to do that though. Experts agree this perversion isn't "fixable" meanwhile children continue to suffer. :grr:
