My little guy in his (frugal!) Halloween costume...
He's my son Emmett as Peter Pan:


The whole thing only cost about $5 to make!! I bought the shirt ($1) and sweatpants ($2) from a thrift store, and then made the belt, hat and boots from felt (about $1.25, as it took me a few tries to get the boots right!). I bought a pack of feathers for $2 and the ribbon for 59 cents, but have lots left over for other crafts.
I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and he gave it a big smile of approval when he saw himself in the mirror!
