14yo is not going, she's handing out candy.
12yo dd is going as a "goth chick" courtesy of her older sister lol.
8yo ds is going as a ninja.
5yo ds is going as a farmer, complete w/ inflatable John Deer tractor. One of those ones with the fans in it that keeps it inflated. It has lights & sounds...he loves it. And we got it on clearance last year for like $7.

Our littlest dog even has a costume..he's going as Robin (from Batman & Robin). Another clearance grab. I think his was like $3 last year.

My 10 year old DS will be going as a "dark wizard" which basically means he'll be wearing a scary mask, a cape and carrying a "cool" skull staff which lights up and makes noise. My 18 year old DD wishes she could still trick-or-treat, so she's escorting her brother and dressing up as a vampiress.

Tracey is going as a nudist on strike, she's just going to wear whatever and carry a sign that says "Nudist on Strike"
David is going as a cereal killer, he's attaching little boxes of cereal all over his clothes and then sticking knives into them, with blood dripping down.
Frank is going as a brain donor, he's wearing a hospital robe, carrying a jar with cauliflower(brain)in it and he'll have surgical scars on his head.
Jake is going as a highway, he'll wear black and we'll put a strip of masking tape coloured yellow up the center of him, then I'll attach little toy cars to him.
Emily is going as a unicorn, we found one of the velour, full body suits at Value Village for $5. Hers is the only costume we spent money on.

We'll have a Cinderella (again!) and a Bunny Rabbit this year. They've already worn their costumes twice (once to Church Harvest Party and once to the Zoo) and they look so cute!
