Need Halloween Costume Ideas...
Ok, we are throwing a huge halloween party, around 30-40 people. my boyfriend is being someone from star wars. I was going to be queen amadilia but her costumes are all sold out plus are going for over $40!!! I need a good idea for a costume... nothing too expensive, but I can't sew. I would love some cheap but not cheesy ideas.... I'm drawing a blank.

Dress up in 80's clothes. Anytime someone says who are you--name a different female movie character from the 80;s.
I'm Ariel from Footloose.
I am Molly Ringwald from one of her many movies.

I think this year I am going to go as a crayon. I will dress in a single color and on my head i wear a piece of bristol board (folded into a cone shape) that is the same color as my clothes. Cheap, easy and fun. If I get adventurous i may even make a "crayola" banner lol Have fun deciding! I love halloween!!!

Okay this will take alittle time. Go to your local craft store. Pick up a garland of fall leaves long enough to wrap around you legs and arms. Go to the dollar store and get a kids plastic rake. Get a large black trash bag.
Put on your bathing suit or if you have a black body suit that will work too. One with long sleeves is even better. Cut 2 leg holes in the bottom of the black bag step in, fill with crumbled newspaper, cut 2 arm holes,
gather at your neck and loosly tie. Wrap garlands around arms and legs.
Be creative with a hat yellow stocking, black stocking with more leaves attached to it. You are now a bag of fall leaves. If you can find a bag of leaves at the craft store or you can cut some more out of constuction paper stick them to the bag and yourself.

Oh, DH reminded me of another good idea.
Last year sister's sister in law came to a party as Beth Dog the Bounty Hunters Wife. Big Blonde WIg, Big Over sized shirt and Ballons, etc..

Those are great ideas everyone thank you! I passed some on to my friends who will be attending. I ended up getting the cheapest costume ever! I got the Sally costume from Nightmare before christmas, dress, gloves and wig and all for FREE!!! My BF bought it for me lol He saw it online and thought it would be perfect and showed me it last tonight (after he bought it, thankfully i liked it lol)

Last year I went as a gypsie fortune teller. Just wear lost of colourful billowy clothes, scarves, heavy makeup, and wrap a ball with tin foil for a crystal ball.

My son is going as a cereal killer. He will put the covers of cereal boxes all over his clothes and will have a plastic knife sticking out of one of the boxes.
