Default Need some ideas for a good Halloween night dinner...

My dh went and bought special skull cups and plates for Halloween, so I want to make him and dd a special dinner. What kind of foods can I make with a Halloween theme?

Baxjul - I just received my Pillsbury email newsletter and there are some truly cool things for Halloween in there. I went to their website

    http://www.pillsbury.com/theme2.aspx

and they have some of them on there but I didn't see them all. Things like "bugs in a blanket" and "bbq worm sandwiches". I will gladly forward the newletter to you if you would like. The worm sandwiches are almost too realistic looking to eat!!

I hope you have a terrific holiday!

you know, i kept this in the back of my mind all day yesterday and couldnt come up with anything except caramel apples for dessert.

those Big-Smile Chalupas look pretty neat though and not too tricky to make. thanks for the link vverkin925.

We are making meatloaf in individual ghost pans, potatoes shaped like eyes, aparagus fingers, biscuts shaped like something, and a pumpkin shaped cake.

Put two chicken wings side by side, brush with dark BBQ sauce, and call them bat wings. Make deviled eggs and use olives to look like eyes.Take canned breadsticks, roll them out, knot the ends, and then bake. They look like bones.Take thick large pretzels, dip in chocolate, cover in coconut. Put a slivered almond on one end and call it a werewolf claw.

Oooh ! Bread pudding with cherries (tart or pie filling) for a Bloody Bread Pudding!

You can serve noodles in the mini pumpkins, (spagehti really does look like brains when you take the lid off).
