    Easy.....

A few tips from me..... These are some I've used over the years...
Use an old fashioned ice cream scoop to hollow out your pumpkin..... it works better than that one you can buy in a kit...

cut a whole in the back of your pumpkin and place a flash light in it.... it will not blow out or catch fire on all of those flowing costumes that brush past it..... you can even cut a piece of colored plastic from a lid to fit over the lens , this makes errie colors in the pumpkin...

Carve things other than pumpkins...watermelons, cantalopes, squash, ( scoop out the insides and eat or use in a recipe) (to make it stand: cut a piece off of bottom so that it will sit straight)

Recycle your pumpkin, watermelon, cantaloupe carvings.....
bring in and cut into manageable pieces.... slice in the food processor, dry in the oven(on low) or in the food dehydrator, this when mixed with other ingredients makes a great simmering potpourri......
To pumpkin add.. some or all of these, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, ginger
To watermelon add: mint or mint tea.....
to cantaloupe add: dried berry leaves or rose petals...

Choose pumpkins from SINCERE pumpkin patches only !!!

Hope this helps with the fun !!!
