I started about two weeks ago and I really love it! My main struggles are when I'm in a hurry and have to grab something out, or when I'm at someone's house who is serving a lot of carbs.

I really enjoy it and find it pretty easy. I've lost 7 lbs. I'm here for support!

I have been a low-carber for what? maybe 8 or 9 years. Although I'm past induction, whenever I feel some pounds slip back or start to feel sluggish, I go back to induction. It's helped my weight and my cholesterol.

I would love some of your recipes just to pep me up!

I will join you just tell me when you want to start! I'm very unhappy with myself and it's affecting my whole life..I'm just miserable...I quit my three pack a day habit last April and gained 50lbs..I know it's time to do something about it for the sake of my family and my own self confidence...

I want to start tomorrow! No time like the present!!!!!!

I think we should continue posting in this thread about are eating/exercise/weight loss.

I am kind of excited about it.

I have tried weight watchers sooooo many times and failed, just because I thought it was OK to cheat on this or that. At least with a low carb diet, you KNOW what you can and can not do.

Let's start tomorrow, Saturday, May 3rd. Hope to see a lot of other posters here.

I would personally like to lose 40 lbs. My start weight is 172. I am swearing off rice/pasta for this coming week...anyone with me?

I'm with you. My goal is 10 pounds off. How about we post each day on this very thread about our menus, how we feel, accomplishments, etc.?

I did the Atkins Diet a few years back and lost 80lbs in 6 months. The first week I was miserable, but after that I felt great. Good luck to you!

OK. May 3: Here we go!
    Breakfast: grilled talapia and coffee
Lunch: Homemade cheese dip: cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, chopped onion, black olives and dried beef, smoke flavoring and worchestershire.
Supper: We'll see. I am going to a women's meeting tonight and it is to be an hors dorves buffet. Usually there are good low carb things there: cheeses, sausage, veggie sticks.

I grocery shopped this morning and got some good buys on meat, fresh spinach, strawberries, and some low-carb, high fiber crackers.

And I'm drinking water; it's my beverage of choice!

How are the rest of you doing today?

    Supper tonight:
Tea buffet at church. There was lots I could eat: cheese, cheese dips, sausage slices, meat sandwiches (just eat the meat). But then I came to the dessert section and had some mini eclairs. I chastised myself, and then had a handful of nuts.

    Sunday, May 4

    Breakfast: grilled talapia
    Lunch: eggs, bacon, biscuit
Supper: creme cheese and beef dip, and creamed spinach (made with creme cheese)

The biscuit was my only downfall.
