    Default Yankeemom what are you doing to lose weight?

    just looked at your pics and you have done a wonderful job.....are you also exercising? I have been doing weight watchers for the last few months and have done it for years, seems to be the only way I can lose, but anyway, I am really losing my focus. I really think I need to exercise (I KNOW I do), but have been waiting for the weather to warm up. Also, my life is concentrating on my oldest daughters' high school graduation,,,, so therefore, the weight loss thing is sorta on the back burner. I just don't want to regain what I have already lost......16#s.

    Congrats on your weight loss!!!


    I do exercise. When I first started I was doing it 6-7x a week just to keep myself going. I felt like if I stopped for more than 1 day at a time I wouldn't get back to it. I was right lol. Since having my wisdom teeth out a month ago, I haven't been able to build up a streak of more than 3x a week of traditional exercise (for me it's usually the exercise bike or elliptical). I do get active every single day though, whether it's gardening or walking the kids to/from school, or heavy cleaning around the house.

    I eat pretty much normal food. Just smaller portions. I make sure I eat breakfast every single day. Since starting this journey, I've missed breakfast only 4 times (that's in almost 6 months). I don't skip meals as a rule. I also try to drink at least 6 glasses of water, preferably 8 but I'm not always able to fit that much liquid in me lol.

    I try to eat more fruits & veggies and less processed foods. This part is hard because there are so many fruits that I seem to be allergic to and so many veggies that just plain hurt my tummy

    I don't drink soda, so that's not an issue for me either.

    And right now, I'm stuck at 27lbs lost. Grrrr!!!

    Gee, thanks!!!!!

    Im the one on the left with my 18yo daughter, my problem seems to be on the "bottom half" of me.....that is why most pics of me are of the top Half!!!!!
