The yoga is hard for me, must be a balance thing. That tree pose is really difficult I start wobbling and bobbing and then just lose it and fall off. I can do some of the more basic ones, but when it comes to standing on one leg...forget it. Maybe it will get easier. Had problems with the balance board today, it was only reading one side of the board and had to reset the thing..anyone else had trouble with it?
I did some of the Jillian workout, I don't think I'm making some of the right movements or something?? Tried the tire one and seemed like I was in slow motion and I was pumping my arms like a chicken trying to fly. Still enjoying the board and having fun.

I haven't done that many, but the exercises do get easier: I couldn't get to 10 hula hoop cycles at first. Now I get 70 or 80 regularly --- and once or twice I broke 100!

13yo daughter and I do the same, trying to beat each others scores at the hula and the tight rope walk!!
|The tree pose is hard for me too, and I got to where I just stand feet together on the dang board on one side or the other and do the stretch!
I know it's probably considered cheating, but hey, it does hurt like hell on your skin to hold you foot right there, and no pants I've tried help at all!!
I do love the yoga stretching, but that seems to be the only thing I have found that actually keeps my spine and neck in line and me out of the chiropractor's office!
I would absolutely love to get hubby participating in the Wii fit, or the Wii in general, but I think he's embarrassed, I don't know why, I am sure I look like a moron up there playing the guitar hero too or throwing invisible pitches and balls during bowling and baseball but we have so much fun doing it and get the exercise too!!Proud wife to Randy

Does anyone have the Wii or the fitness board?
Is it worth the money? We have been debating whether to buy the wii. We don't do video games but I like the wii. We have been waiting for it to go on sale but it never does and everytime we go to maybe look at one it is out of stock. Have you done the fit board? Tell me what you think. I don't want this to be another thing we buy and use it for a little while then never use it again. However for a first video game I like the fact you have to get up and do something. My kids are 5 and under and the only video games they have is lol pbs kids website.
Hope to here from you and thanks for your input

We bought a Wii a little over 1 year ago and love it! It is well worth the $249 you have to pay and ours came with the Sports pack game. We don't own the fit board or any of the add ons. We do have 2 other games & 1 came with an extra controller. You generally need 2 remotes & numchuks (sp) in order to box against another person...but if you are going to box against the Wii then you only need 1 set.

I got mine yesterday and I am already an addicted....lol I love the hula hoop and jogging. I am already finding myself making excuse for Paige to watch TV in our room or a movie on the portable DVD player in her room so I can have it on the big TV....lol I may eventually move it to the back bedroom so I can exercise in private but for now it will stay in the living room.
