My goals.
I've decided its time to quit feeling sorry for my self and just do it.
I'm aiming at a loss of approx 30-35 lbs.I'm 5'2", so that is alot on a small person. My BMI is getting too close to obese for my comfort, so it's time to do something about it!
I'm going to be using Sparks. I like it's simplicity
Here it goes!! Week 1.

I"m doing good! I have been busy busy! I haven't really planned all my meals, it's hard to do around various things, but I make it fit with what is being prepped. Last night we made pizza. Mine had all veggies, no cured meats, and light on the cheese. So it didint' stand out.
I went to see a naturopath last week as well. I've not been feeling great and the Dr. is a bit of an @$$. I left with a referral to a specialist for my thyroid, and no help interms of the anemia other than offering to send me to another specialist who would do a stomach scope to check for bleeding ulcers, of which I have NO symptoms. Anyway, the naturopath was extremely cool. By checking my pulse, he told me I was in mid cycle of my period. While we'd discussed what my period was like, that I had started my period wasn't discussed at all. He also toldme many symptoms that I had forgotten to mention, as in I'm just so used to having them, I just ignore them.
I left with 2 supplements and a list of blood building foods to eat. I also have a herbal conconction to pickup next week to help with my menstrual cycle. It was an inexpensive prescription, most of the deal was FOOD! So I can handle that. Lots of the foods I had never tried before, but with a little research and af ew new recipes it has been successfully integrated. Time to add a few more.
I don't know if I've lost weight, my scale decided to die. Says I lost 35 lbs over night. Awesome..lol. But it also means my kids are very underweight..lol. 50lbs at 14 is an issue, right?
I'm returning it and exchanging it for a different one. This one died within 6 weeks of getting it.

Congrats! I have to tell ya, I lost 52 lbs in a few months and it wasnt as hard as I thought AND I didnt exercise at all. I basically cut out sweets/cakes/cookies/snacks/chips/etc.
I also ate those Michelina's Lean Meals ($1 each) but they were filling, I also ate lots of veggies (mostly broccoli) but I also ate fruits. I ate lots of olives and beets too!

You can do it! Just like frugalmomof3, I cut out sweets and breads. I lost 14 pounds in few weeks. I changed how I ate, and didn't completely eat every meal. Eat half and wait to see if you are full. I started walking as well. Exercise not only helps the weight come off, but helps with any medical issues you may have! Good luck to you!!!!
