Default Have you had your exercise today?

I just finished my 3 mile walk (couldn't stand not to be out in the for a bit, it's so pretty out there). Now I've got my reg. pic and put up to do around the house. Have you done your workout? If so, what?

I cleaned for an hour in the house with my boys.
    vacumned upstairs and stairs
    scrubbed tub
    stripped and remade bed
various other household chores, but these were the "workout activities"

    does that count?

I scrubbed my but off this morning in two 30 minute sessions moving at high speed.

Done 750 extra steps (intentionally extra and with no other purpose to take them) so far .....aiming for 2500 today.

I have been a slacker this week with structured exercise. But I have been doing alot of yard work and housework this week. So I guess we can count that as exercise.

I can clearly see that you girls have been working hard and are busy......but, didn't I read somewhere that it only counts as exercise if it's in addition to your normal chores and work....?

Slightly off topic, but PrairieRose how long did it take you to walk 3 miles? I'm trying to incorporate more walking in my routine so I'm trying to figure out the distance/speed thing, so I'm curious how long a 3 mile walk is.

I don't know about Lisa, but when I do a 3 mile walk, I usually take around 50-60 minutes. Not great, but it gets my heart rate up & I break a sweat

Since most of the pieces I did were the scrubbing kinds that I usually disperse throughout the week, that I worked at high speed instead of leaisurely, and that I'm usually sitting at a desk at work for that time fame I'm counting the cleaning. Didn't know there was a criteria when you asked. I thought we were just being supprt and motivation.

I've been using the Wii fit, and believe me that is one crazy workout! My calves are so sore from lunges & squats yesterday.

Anyway, I was too busy getting the house ready for company tonight to do anything "formal" today, but I will probably do some running and yoga with the Wii when my company leaves
