    Smile I'm getting better!!

    Hiya everyone,

I'm so happy!!! I made it pass my two and half week point of not eating pass 6:30pm. What I've been doing is after dinner I put all the dishes in the washer and then just do what I do during the day carry a bottle of water around or while I'm watching tv. During the day I can drink between 8 to 10 bottles of water, I gave up all sodas May of 2007. Then around 8pm I brush my teeth so that way I don't want to eat anythnig. It was hard for a few days and over the weekend when DH is home all day. He thinks that I don't need to loss anymore weight but I'm at the stand still with my weight loss, I keep workout and eating the right food, but I was still having those night time craving which is what I think is holding my weight back. So I going to weigh in next week and see if the numbers go down... If anyone has any advice for me I love to hear... Thanks for reading....

Oh...I'm terrible with eating after dinner! I just had 2 lemon wafer cookies. Ugh. I really need to make and stick with a no snacking after 8pm rule. In fact...I'm doing that now. DH and I both work late, so we often don't eat dinner until 6:30 or 7, so No Eating after 8 PM. Only water, or tea. I used to do this, so I know I can do it again. It is more habit than anything. So I guess that would be my advice...practice makes perfect. LOL!

My mom noticed the weight loss when she stopped eating after 7pm, so it's something that does work. It might be at different times for each person but it's there. I'm also one that's terrible for eating after dinner (I can snack sometimes up till 11pm - but I'm starving) and that's even with eating a good meal. I was debating the appetite control tabs but I don't like taking any more medications than I need to.

The water thing is a really good idea. I'd say if you absolutely have to have something, then maybe raw veggies would be good. You'd get tons of good stuff and it wouldn't overfill you and add to your weight.
