Summer time headcold anyone?
Just wondering if it's going around where you live? I've managed to get a little one....hopefully it won't last too long, sure not the worst I've ever had, just annoying. Anyone else? (achoo!)

I'm just getting over one. It started with a sore throat, then sneezing/blowing my nose for two days. Then I was fine! Yay! That was probably the shortest cold I have ever had.

Periodically I get one. I hate antibiotics and I am prone to bronchitis so I don't let it last past two days. I get aggressive with it:
Nasal washing twice daily
Extra vitamin C
Eliminate all bread/dairy from diet
Apple cider vinegar with the mother
Increase water intake
Vaporizer at night

Wow, you weren't joking you do get aggressive. Those pesky colds better watch out at your house.....

I'm taking Vit. C, drinking lots of fluids, eating fruits and veggies and have been to the chiro......I'm hoping I pull through (just being silly, it's not a terrible cold).
What is apple cider vinegar "with the mother?"

I've got one - I think it's a combination of allergies and a cold... been fighting it about a week - finally seems to be turning the corner.

DS#3 has one too! When we went to the allergist yesterday, I thought the dr. would say it was his allergies, but after the exam he said it was a cold. It is a pretty nasty cold because he can't stop sneezing. His head hurts and his nose is getting red from blowing it. It continuously runs. UGH! I know he doesn't feel good. He has been complaining that his head hurts too.
I sure hope you get to feeling better soon, Lisa. If you are feeling like him, I know you aren't having any fun.~*Michelle*~

Hope you all fell better soon. It seems especially cruel to feel badly when the weather is nice.

Kathrn, Lauren, and I have had one since the first week in June. They each missed 3 days of school because of it. It was a head cold, sore throat, and fever sort of illness. We're all doing much better now and are only coughing a bit during the day and at night.
Hope you feel better soon

I get one every summer. I've already had one this summer but I wouldn't be surprised if I get one again. Summer colds are the worst because being sick and out in the heat is just miserable. I hope you get over yours quickly!

I don't really feel all that horrible...just a little tired and runny nose and sneezing a teensy bit. I've definitely had lots worse colds. Thanks for the wishes everyone.
