Default Methods To Treat Gallbladder Naturally, Without Surgery???

Hi everyone. The last couple of months I've been having sharp pains in my right side underneith my rib (not contantly, maybe once every week or 2). It's making me extremely sick to my stomach and alot of back pain. Since I know it's my gallbladder, are there any good, all-natural ways to help treat it without prescription medications or surgery?

    Hello
I've read about a gall bladder detox where you drink epsom salts mixed with oil and a few other ingredients. I don't have the link, but if you typed "gall bladder detox" into a search window, I bet it would come up.

That being said, I would say you should go see your doctor. Coming from some one who had to have their gall bladder out, I know how truly painful the attacks can be. :hugs: More than likely, the attacks will become more frequent and potentially more painful. I'm not trying to get on a soap box, so I hope you don't take any offense. I just know that gall stones can be a very serious issue if they get lodged in the ducts that connect to the liver. Hope you are able to find a solution (and relief!) :hugs:

I would like to warn whoever uses this method to be very careful. My neighbor (83) died last year due to an overdose of epsom salts he was using for relief from constipation.

    :agree:

I had my gallbladder out last September. I was controlling the attacks by watching what I ate (very, very low fat), but even that didn't work after a while. It got to the point where I couldn't eat *anything* without having an attack.

If you get stones lodged in the ducts, you could develop pancreatitis, which is very, very serious. I know someone online who waited too long to have her stones out, and she was in the hospital for over 3 weeks due to pancreatitis.

I wish you the best. I know it's horribly painful.

More info on pancreatitis: (bolding mine)

    http://www.labtestsonline.org/unders...creatitis.html

Pancreatitis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the pancreas. Acute attacks are often characterized by severe abdominal pain that radiates from the upper belly through to the back and can cause effects ranging from mild pancreas swelling to life-threatening organ failure. Chronic pancreatitis is a progressive condition that involves a series of acute attacks. These attacks can cause intermittent or constant pain and can lead to permanent damage of pancreas tissues.

ditto to this. my ex-hubby nearly died from a doctor ignoring his gall bladder symptoms ("take mylanta"), from the pancreatitis that resulted. Don't play around with this... edited to add, the resulting medical bills from the 1 month in intensive care and two further surgeries totaled one million dollars that insurance paid in fulll.
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

I had to have mine out, too. My attacks started while I was pregnant, and then I waited almost another year before finally having the surgery. Two days after surgery I was eating pizza and feeling much better than I had in a long, long time.

That said... avoid fatty or greasy foods, spicy foods, caffeine, and broccoli. (Broccoli is one of my favorites but eating it put me in the emergency room once with a horrible gallbladder attack- no joke!)
