THANK goodness you were buckled up and that noone was badly hurt. So sorry that this happened
My dd was hit by a truck as she was walking on campus and the injuries took a long time to show up (her back still kills her where she landed on her backpack). Did anyone get a ticket? If it was the other guys fault, don't sign anything releasing the insurance from medical stuff for a long time. You have like a year to settle that part (I'm not suggesting suing but you want your medical bills covered).

So glad you are just sore. I recently (month ago) had a post about wearing seatbelts because we were in an accident where the car was totaled and we were just sore. So glad you were wearing yours and are on your way to feeling better. Take good care.

I don't EVER go without my seatbelt......and I would much rather be really sore than having my face shredded by the windshield, which is where I am sure I would have been had I not had the belt on...... I feel pretty good in the mornings, but by the end of the work day, my shoulders and neck are just burning.... I guess it doesn't help since I have to hold my arms up all day doing hair, but thankfully, I am able to work....I don't know if he was ticketed or not, but the accident report said it was his fault, and my close friend works for our insurance company, she has been a big help. She told me not to sign anything either.... so we will see. But the very next day, I was recieving letters from lawyers wanting me to sue them... I just pitched them in the trash.......

Oh how I wish everyone felt like this. I work at a seatbelt/airbag supplier and have seen numerous tests that shows what happens to the DUMMY that doesn't wear the seatbelt. Most people here have seen the tests too but some still refuse to wear it. One woman says it wrinkles her clothes!!
And for the record, those who feel they might be "trapped" in their car because of the seatbelt, you have a MUCH greater chance of being EJECTED from your car if you are not wearing a seat belt. So choose wisely.Russ

I'm so glad you are ok... .and them too. To be able to walk away from an accident is always a good. Thank goodness you wear your seatbelt. (I can't imagine traveling 55mph and hitting a pane of glass with my face.)
And thank you for pitching the ambulance chaser mail. As long as you're ok, your medical needs are covered from the accident and your car gets repaired you don't need to make a lawyer richer this time.
Blessings

Glad you are ok! I have been in 2 major accidents and I understand how shaken up you can get. (And yes, I always wear my seat belt Now as my 1st accident I was 13 and didn't. I did in fact go into the windshield and slid down it. Nasty scar on my eyebrow because of that and the 40 stitches)

I am glad you are okay. I just started physical therapy for the injuries from the accident I was in on June 13th. I know what you mean about being really sore at the end of a work day. I hope your recovery goes well. (hugs)
