    Exclamation I see a lung specialist tomorrow AM - Need good thoughts please!

    Hi Folks,

    I have not been on here posting much lately, as my blood sugar has been dangerously out of whack for the last week or so, to the point of a near diabetic coma the other night - My poor DH was freaking out!

    I hope it is OK to post this here...I have an appointment with a lung specialist (pulmonologist) tomorrow morning at 10:30. I hope to finally find out what is causing my breathing problems and this horrendous cough I have had for what seems like forever. I do not think it is asthma (as I have been diagnosed by a clinic doctor), as it has not been helped with any prescription meds or my inhaler. I supposedly have had bronchitis about 6 times in a year and a half, but after taking antibiotics, I just start the same coughing, wheezing, hacking (and even throwing up sometimes <-- TMI) all day and night and feeling like crap again.

    Anyway, hopefully this doc can tell me what is going on - I would appreciate any prayers or good thoughts about my diabetes and the lung appointment, as well as for my DH, who is trying so hard to take care of me! Thanks!!! :

    P.S. These lung issues were around way before the pets, so please don't think they are the cause.
