Why I left Mainstream Medicine- From A Nurse........Video

My mother left mainstream medicine back in the 80's as a nurse as well. She left because of the "legal" drug's that were only making people sicker. She made her final decision when I was misdiagnosed with bronchial asthma and given a drug called asbron that almost killed me.

Guess drug companies should stop manufacturing my husbands insulin that he takes twice a day for his type 1 diabetes since ALL drugs manufactured just make people even more sick.
BTW my husband has a better A1C then your average American who doesn't have diabetes. He works out almost everyday and eats super well.

Be careful of blanket statements.

Andrea, it is wonderful that your dh is very proactive in his wellbeing. Has he looked into a 100% rawfood diet that could actually help his pancreas to start functioning properly again? Believe it or not , there are cases of people curing themselves of type 1 by being 100% faithful to a rawfood lifestyle. My sil has reduced the amount of insulin he needs by almost 80%! His Dr./specialist is amazed by this. We credit it to his rawfood lifestyle. Hopefully he will be one of those who in the very near future will no longer need any insulin.

Here is a link on an article of someone who cured themselves of type 1 as well. Dr. Cousens is just an amazing soul!

He does a lot of raw foods including raw soybeans and things we grow right here in our garden. That added to the exercise is probably why he has such a great A1C.
I personally believe in a holistic approach to healthcare and in fact go to an herbalist myself (he is trained as a conventional Dr. but has "seen the light" so to say). The first thing that Dr. did was take me off of all medications except vitamins. After he did that I felt better then I had in years.
There was just something about that video that rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it was the fact that the maker was quoting herself instead of quoting notable sources. It could also be that it seemed to me that she was saying that ALL disease is brought on by the person and I just don't think I believe that. I do think a lot of disease is brought on by lifestyle and such but I also think genetics are at work as well.
