Cure for cancer
I wondered if anyone thought or considered that there might be a cure of cancer that is being held back?
I've been doing a bit of research and I personally feel there is a cure. I may have even stumbled upon it. I just wanted to see what others think.

I have felt this way for a long time..... I think it will never be admitted though, because it makes too many people too much money..... Think of all the businesses that profit from it, the drug companies, the insurance companies, the research, the doctors , hospitals , etc........ maybe I just am one who subscribes to "conspiracy theories".... but , just my opinion.......

I'm not sure....I mean "cancer" is such a broad term. Isn't cancer just basically mutated cells? As I understand it, no two cancers are alike ~ cells may mutate differently. Which is why chemo and other treatments work on some, but not others....
If this is the case, there really can't be one "cure all" right? Maybe I'm way off base, but this is the way I've always understood it...~Jessica

I agree Jamauk, there "might" be a cure for a specific cancer but certainly not all. If there is a cure for all, why isn't someone doing something about it instead of letting children/adults die from such a widespread disease? IDK makes me wonder though.

You've stumbled on the cure for cancer? How? I'm interested in hearing about this. Cancer scares the bejesus out of me.

I will lose all faith in humanity if this is the case.
I lost my Mom to pancreatic cancer and my Dad had lung cancer so if there is a cure that somebody is not telling about because of greed or some other excuse, let me at 'em because I have something for them...
And FN, if you have the cure, can I have it??? My genes are lousy.Last edited by magnolia; 07-27-2008 at 11:53 PM.

Frugal Nurse, There is a cure for cancer, but it is not in conventional medicines slash, burn and poison methods! I learned the truth when dd was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma. Cancer does not scare me anymore because I know it is just the bodies cry for help and you can restore your health. I am currently working with a 66 year old dear friend who was diagnosed with "terminal" kidney cancer. He quit the chemo pills and is going with Gods natural route to heal his cancer. His latest CT scan and bloodwork have his oncologist just amazed! He has now takn charge of his own wellbeing and is thriving! Just let me list a few people here who have learned that there is a cure for cancer and have curd themselves. Brenda Cobb, she was given 6 months to live after being diagnosed with "terminal" breast cancer. She took charge of her health and cured herself with a raw food diet. She has opened a natural healing center down in Georgia. The Rev who runs www.hacres.com cured himself of cancer. Then there is a man by the name of Bill Henderson who has the website www.beating-cancer-gently.com He knows the cure. There are literally hundreds and thousands of people who have cured their cancer. The Dr. Who runs St. Mary's Alternative Center in Grand Rapids, Mi, cured himself of his "terminal" brain cancer.
How sad that conventional medicine does not want to thruth to be known! They would have to close their doors and would lose their butts if the masses knew the truth! How sad that millions have died due to the greed!

There are different types of cancer that get treated different ways.
For example, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was caught early, he was treated with a fairly new technique (can't recall exactly how it worked) and he's been prostate cancer free for years now.
In a checkup, he was then diagnosed with Non Hodgkins lymphoma. Very bad - or used to be - but since he was on regular checkups because of his prostate, this too was caught early. He's been on Gleevec (miracle drug) for a while now, which has kept him lymphoma free. 10 years go, Gleevec didn't exist.
So there are new treatments coming out every year, and I think we're getting closer - but the idea of "cancer" is generally something that's very narrow in most people's minds, but in reality, is a very broad area to be dealt with.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I absolutely believe there are cures for many different types of cancer. But then we'd have no more need for fundraisers, research money, etc., etc. For example, just think about how much money the breast cancer 3-day walk raises! The people who benefit from that (financially) sure as heck don't want to give that up!

My boss is really into alt med. She swears there is a cure. Both her and her hubby had terminal cancer years back and were told to get their affairs in order. They left the country. They have been cancer free 10 years for her and 15 years for him.

And there you have it. For every poster that argues for, with a story, there will always be one that argues against.
It's all about who can make the best arguement, who has the best statistics or the most convincing story about alt medicine.
Bottom line - alt medicine - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Bottom line - conventional medicine - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.Russ

If there's a secret cure for cancer being stashed somewhere, SOMEONE is gonna out it. There's always whistle blowers who act on their principles over greed.
Its like the car that runs on water myth - its apparently easier to believe that there's a conspiracy to keep everyone down than it is to believe that some things just are what they are.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
