Wish I could view this one, Lynn. We are at our cabin where we have a dish internet system, and too much 'activity'--especially of the video variety-- puts us in 'double secret probation' or at least that's what we call it. Our internet slows way down or doesn't work at all.

BUT--when I get home to our cable system, I am planning to view it! Thanks!

Cheryl, Dr. day is an amazing woman who cured her "terminal" breast cancer in 8 months time. I have one of her cassett series here that I orderd when dd was diagnosed with cancer. She is very down to earth and get's to the point. Enjoy!

I had no idea your DD had cancer! How is she doing? WHAT is she doing? How long ago was she diagnosed?

I can't wait to view Dr Day's video. I will be here 3 more month, though.

Cheryl, DD was diagnosed 5 years ago this past may with hodgkins lymphoma, stage 3b. She was 21 at the time. I had a month to work with her to get her stronger before she made the decision to start 6 months of chemotherapy. Being 21, it was her responsibility to make her own choices. By that time I had already done alot of research on chemotherapy and I think that her choice of doing 6 months of chemo pained me more than her diagnosis of her cancer. During the 1 month prior to chemo, she went from basically being an invalid to a very vibrant young lady! But she caved in from pressure from "well meaning" relatives. Anyhow, dd did go through her chemo with flying colors and is now a proud parent of 3 beautiful children. The first one being conceived during her last chemo treatment. She was told she would never be able to conceive. She is doing very well and works part time as a dental hygentist. She also does a mostly raw food diet and takes her wholefood supplements. She is well aware that it's really important to take care of herself. Thanks for asking:-) And it sounds like you are really enjoying your stay at your cabin? That's wonderful!

I'm so glad that she was able to heal and have children! What a horrible thing for you all to go through.

Yes, we love it here. No TV, no food commercials, away from other influences----a good place to start eating right.

LOL, I am sitting in my little haven right now as well. Dh and I go home two day's a week to get things done and can't wait to return here. It's just so peaceful! Just nature and you:-) Cheryl, I think it's just wonderful that you are nourishing your body and your dh has joined in too!

Yes, It was a heartwrenching ordeal to go through at the time, but it also has made us all much stronger! We never sweat the small stuff anymore.
