Home Remedies for Earaches?
I woke up this morning with an earache in my left ear. Besides taking Tylenol or Advil, is there anything I can do for the pain naturally?

You could try a warm washcloth on it. That should ease the pain. If it persists you should see the doc just in case it's an infection.

You might not have this around - but it's good to have it for lots of other reasons as well:
Take 1-2 drops of organic tea tree essential oil and mix in a base of 20 drops of olive oil and place several warmed drops of this mixture into the affected ear canal. Use any one of the ear drop remedies several times a day to relieve the discomforts of the inflammation. Best to use essential oils that are organic and top grade quality whenever possible. There is a difference
You can get some at Vitaminshop http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/e...eyword=DS-7008
I don't know if you can get it at Wholefoods (I'd call first)
Organic Tea Tree Oil has lots of other uses as well - so your money is well spent:
Dandruff
Athletes’ foot
Jock itch
Nail fungus
Insect bites
Acne
Ringworm
Bee Stings
Boils
Cold sores
Gum disease

my grandma used to warm sweet oil or olive oil in a spoon by holding a lighter under the spoon and then poor the warm oil into our ear... worked like a charm but be careful not to touch the spoon to your skin
in a pinch since I figured any warmth in my ear would help I've used a blow dryer to get warm air in there

Colloidal silver is an excellent remedy as well:-) You can place it directly in the ear and tilt your head to the side and push down on the earlobe , gently a few times.

I don't have it on hand, but I am willing to buy some once I read up about it on the site you posted.
How do I warm up the mixture?
It is feeling better now (still there just a bit), and I suspect it may be related to my back molar. I need to have another filling put in as I've worn down the one that's in there.
