    Question Dizziness...while lying down!

For the past week or so I've been having dizziness at night. When I am sleeping and roll over to my right side, I get dizzy. There are no other symptoms - just the dizziness. Anyone ever had anything like this happen?

I had this exact same thing happen this spring. I went to the dr and I had an inner ear infection~I had zero indication of it except the dizziness. No pain, nothing.

I also deal with "lower than normal" blood pressure, I can tell when it gets "too low", cause I feel really, really dizzy.

It sounds like you have a problem with your inner ear...it is what gives us our sense of balance...

    Same here.
My ear infections always resolve on their own though.

I think you should see your MD, too. A week is long enough to wait it out. Good luck!

My advice: go to the DR and get some antibotic, or do what we often do in our house.................try some leftover anitbotic that you didn't finish last time...*gasp*... did I just say that out loud?? (I know you're not SUPPOSED to do that, but works like a charm!)

We do the same thing at our house. Glad we are not the only ones. I know they say finish the script, but really, if your body needs just a little help fighting something off, then take the meds untill you body can take over. JMO

Yes, I would go see the DR. if no meds in home to take. It is going on TOO long. Your body needs some help.

Definitely get to the doctor, neglecting an ear infection can cause damage to your hearing.

Hope for your sake it is a inner ear infection. I had the same thing about 2 years ago, be careful, mine was not a inner ear infection as I thought, it was blood pressure issues, that have since been resolved with meds.

I have the same thing and didn't know what to think.
Sometimes I get dizzy when I roll over in bed.

I might just try the dr to see if it is an inner ear infection I have never had one I have known about but the dizzy feeling is the only thing I have.

Glad you are going to the Doctor. Dizziness can be a sign for many things so its best to get it checked out.

My daughter has Meniere's Disease and dizziness is the main sympton. It can be helped by a low salt diet and steriods.
