Talking I lost about 2 lbs this week...

    :woohoo:

As you may already know, I started counting calories last week. I am eating a LOT less than I was, and I'm eating more fruits & veggies. Some days I have trouble getting in all of my calories. I've noticed that I tend to try to eat light for B & L with the fear that if I don't, I'll go over my limit. I am going to work on eating more substantial breakfasts & lunches so this won't be an issue. I am more and more tempted toward bedtime to eat something unhealthy just because I can--because I have the calories to spare.

So anyway, i say I'm down "about" 2 lbs because I didn't write down the specific number. I just remember weighing myself one night when we got back from our mini-vacation and freaking out. (why I was weighing myself at night is beyond me). So I have that number in my head and am estimating my loss to be about 2 lbs. I am usually very precise with my numbers because losing 2.2 is better than just 2 for me even though the numbers are very close.

I'll have a more accurate loss to announce next week as I will have a definite, precise number to start with.

Congratulations! It isn't easy getting in the groove of dieting. I hate eating breakfasts prior to 10 am but when I do, I am more successful during the week at losing poundage. I also make sure I try to get a protein and some fiber in at the early meal which helps me carry on till lunch.

    Excellent!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
