    Default Backtracking..............

Well I've adjusted my ticker. I'd been at 80 lbs. lost for a good while and then we did a couple of trips where the food was ever present and bountiful and beautiful and delicious and, and, and....I simply ate too danged much, drank too danged much. SSoooooo here I am at 75 lbs. lost, 13 to goal. I have however lost 3 of the 7 I gained since we got home on Saturday night. Now I'm working on the last 13 again. I can see that this is definitely a portion control issue for me and I swear I'm gonna control them dern portions from now on....I just hate back tracking. I'm about to do some weight lifting and then go and walk 2 miles on the track. I may walk another mile in the evening for good measure. Lately I've been loving going for 'evening walk about' after dinner. Gripey and I have been doing that not so much for the 'workout' aspect of it as just to do something to move for a bit after we eat. Feels great.

The worst part is that I have my 30 yr. reunion in 10 days. I can't possibly make my goal but I can lose another 2-3 pounds before then. I could use your weightloss good thoughts and thingies....lol.

that's a bummer, I know, but don't beat yourself up about it....you have done way too good of a job, and lost way too much to get too bummed out. but it will be easier to recover a 5 pound gain than a 25 pound gain......so get back to it, and you'll be "back in the saddle" in no time!

Sending good vibes your way! You've come so far- a 75 pound loss is amazing! I know it's frustrating to see the scale move a little back in the wrong direction. Those last few stubborn pounds will come off sooner or later.
