Moor's Weight loss
I started in August loosing weight.
I have been working on this for years, but finally decided to put things in writing, as that makes me accountable.
So, here are my stats!
Starting weight: 245 lbs
Goal weight: 145 lbs
Sept. 7 weigh in: 195 lbs
I want to slow down some now, want to do it right and not have the weight just fall off.

Wow, you lost that much weight in a month?! How?

Wishing you my best in your journey to where you want to be.

i started eating more, which jump started my metabolism.
i quit drinking so much soda, which was making me retain water.
i started drinking water with lemon or lime, which is a natural diruetic (sp), which helped in loosing a lot of the water. lol
here was my normal day:
get up have a pepsi and a cig.
not eat until sometime in the evening. if at all, because i was always drinking pepsi all day long.
now i get up and eat something, even if it's some toast and juice.
have a snack
eat lunch
have a snack
eat supper
have a snack
i am down to drinking two pepsi's a day instead of nearly a 12 pack a day.

I am 5'5"
ever since my last child, I have weighed this much or more.
I have a couple of machine's that I use here at the house. one is an ab machine, the other is a cardio glide. Because of my back and other health issue's, I use them when I can. but i am finding the more i use them, the more i am able to do.

Those ab machines are a killer. LOL I only have a recumbent bike here. I'd love something like a stairmaster or treadmill in the future. Hard to justify the purchase when I'm not exactly using the bike. LOL
I'd love a walking/running/jogging buddy here in my city. I have a bit of paranoia about heading out alone. I've considered mall walking to combat my apprehension of being alone. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. but dh is a health food nut.
he is also a runner.
he is going to run in the Air Force Marathon / Half Marathon this year. Last year, he did the 5k. This year he is doing the half marathon which is 13 miles. So even though we have been married for almost 14 years, it is just now starting to sink in. lol

Wow - thats just amazing!!!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
