Flea help

For me and our small dog. Our yard is over loaded with fleas. I have told my husband this for years. And he is the type of person if it don't bite him it is not happening. In the mean time our little house dog can not go out into the yard with out getting 4-5-6- fleas on him. And the dog sleeps with us and then the fleas bite me. I am sick of it. DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF SOME THING I CAN PUT ON THE YARD TO KILL THE FLEAS AND NOT OUR DOG? Oh yeah we live in the city so I can not have any kind of birds to eat the things. Thanks for any help at all.Juju

Seven Dust....found in home improvement stores, Walmart...etc.
You can use it on the pets as well as the yard.

I have always heard that you plant some species and they will push a way fleas. Try googling natural flea killers. Look at some Chrysanthemum. they are said to get rid of fleas too.

Get you on a B Complex vitamin, that makes you stinky to bugs!! Get the dog the garlic tablets and start adding some vinegar(just a couple drops) to his/her water everyday! That makes the dog stinky to the flea's!!

We live in Nevada, we dont have flea's and tic's here, but man when I lived in Alaska we got eaten alive until my folks put us on the B complex vitamins!!
