Default Chemo..It Kills cancer Cells and The Patient

    http://www.naturalnews.com/012727.html

Sad is all I can say. I just attended another funeral of a close 81 year old elderly friend who died from chemotherapy. It took three weeks to kill her. I predicted 2 weeks. She was pressured into it by her oncologist. He told her he could give her another 10 years if she did the chemo, without it, 2 to 3 years. Helen has passed and the oncologist made his$$$$$$$$ :-(

Yes, it's sad but true:-( diagnosed with colon cancer in August and had that removed. Was not going to have any part of chemotherapy, but was talked into by her dishonest oncologist. She had only one "treatment" the end of September and died on October 16th.

She was 81 with cancer , do you really think she would have lived long without it?

Sadly her age was against her , and chemo is harsh , I would have thought the operation would be very difficult to recover from at that age and would be surprised she had been ''promised'' another 10 years with the treatment.

Speaking from experience , my Aunt died last week , she was in her 80's had been fit and very healthy up until a few months ago , took ill and went downhill very fast , as you get older your body doesnt recover very well ,

I know the OP doesnt believe in Chemo , but I know people who wouldnt be here today without it

I know a couple of older people who have gone through chemo recently, both in their late 70's and early 80's. My sister also had chemo about 5 years ago. The procedure has changed drastically from, say, ten years ago. No nausea, only a little fatigue. It is something that even elderly people could tolerate now. The woman I know who is currently going through it also runs her own business, and she hasn't missed any days at work yet.

I'm with you countrybumpkin, I wouldn't of taken the chemo I've seen what it does to people it sure doesn't help them live any longer just the opposite. I would opt for a more natural approach that for sure! Sorry for your loss.

Default I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor...

and I had 6 rounds of what they call "dose dense" (chemo "typically" given every 3 weeks, I was given it every 2) and let me tell you...IT KICKED MY BUTT...landed in the hospital after the last one...BUT, given my age and the age of my son, I was GLAD to get it (killed everything, but the kitchen sink...BUT I ALSO, believe that you need to take responsibility for yourself also (diet, exercise, meditation, etc). However, I am suprised that they would give it at that age, kind of the "rule of thumb" is NOT to give chemo after age 70. Take care and God bless.

    Hi Rhonda,
I am just curious here......were you able to start anykind of a nutritional regimen before you began your chemo? Just curious because my DD went through 6 months of it on a biweekly basis, but I had one month to work with her immune system and protect her cells before she began it. You could see her remarkable progress in one month's time. She was stage 3b, hodgkins lymphoma. The Dr's wanted her to start the chemo right away, wanted to keep her in the hospital because she could hardly even walk. She said no to them and told them that her mom would help her! Two weeks later when she was scheduled to see the surgeon, he about fell over! She went from being on her death bed, to being outdoors jumping and laughing on the trampoline with me. The day of her first chemo treatment her oncologist told her that her hair would fall out by her second treatment, but it never did! It thinned alot by the 5 month, so we shaved her head. But she just kind of breezed right through it and even became pregnant right after her last treatment. Her cycles never even stopped. Her pregnancy had her oncologist so upset that his concern led to several visit's at the Uof M to see the head oncologist there. They had never had a case like her's! All the time I just knew that all would be well:-) Nine months later her and Dh had my grandson, Zavian and he weighed in at 9lbs and I cannot remember oz's...lol. And two more grandbabies have followed since.
Sorry you had to go through all of this, Rhonda. You take care and God Bless you too!

Well daisymay, I know that Helen was planning on living to at least 100. She had an aunt live to be 102, and by golly........she was planning on it. But as we all know, life does not have any gurantees.

I think that oncologist was very negligent in administering chemo after this major surgery! Very dishonest as well!

Your aunt sounds alot like Helen. Everyone at our campground was just amazed at her endless amount of energy she displayed during her ten year's there. But there are also those of us who knew that her diet consisted of alot of morning breakfast's that were refined pancakes, fake syrup and nasty processed bacon that was loaded with chemicals, But this was her choice and what she enjoyed! It's unfortunate that this is what also led to her colon cancer. Even her family member's in the campground realized it.

True, there are many people who's immune systems do weaken as they become older, but that is only because of the improper care they have had over the course of their lifetime. The body does start breaking down at the cellular level if abused. But if taken care of, we should live to be 100 or more year's.(providing we don't die from an accident, etc) Proper care does include mind, body and spirit:-) The choices we make today are going to determine our wellbeing in our later year's.

If you have never had chemo yourself then you are making a very biased judgement.

As a three time survivor you learn to have a VERY different lookout on life.

Ick...we went through this with my Grandpa. He was 83 and had stomach cancer. We decided against chemo. The doctors were very clear with us and flat out told us that chemo doesn't know the difference between cancer cells and healthy cells...it just kills everything. He ended up dying a week later anyway.

Russ, sounds like she was blessed with a long life, but was she healthy? I have another dear lady friend who is almost 95 and eats this kind of diet as well. She still lives in her home, but with health aids who are there 24/7 to take care of her needs. She does not like this, but she is still spiritually happy and as smart as a tac. It's just that her less than desireable diet has led to her body breaking down and being obese, HBP, sugar, arthritis, irregular hearbeat and had to have a pacemaker put in. But you know what? She is an amazing lady and her work here is not done. I don't preach health to her because it is not my place. In fact this might really surprise you all here..........I don't preach health to any family members or friends, but only if they ask me to. Then we talk on a one on one basis. There is also a group of us that meets every saturday morning during the summer month's, and we have discussions on health. I don't believe in judging a person for their lifestyle, as most people just have no clue because they think that the food they eat is approved by the FDA, so it must be good. But this does not mean that my heart does not ache for them. I know, can't save the world!
