Shingles
I got 'em

Damn chicken pox at 6yo wasn't bad enough. Now I have to go through this. Blah.
Anyone have any experience? Thankfully most of the pain is gone now that the rash has developed. The rash isn't anywhere near as painful as my skin was before the rash came. I just got back from the dr with my meds. Now I'm going to bed. I'm pooped.

Heather, I'm so sorry you are going through this. I had shingles myself in my twenties and remember how very painful they were.
Rest up and eventually, it will pass.

I had it in my 20's, too. No medication given. I remember the pain.
It really hurt.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. My Mom had shingles that effected her face, eyelid and neck a few years ago. On top of the shingles she developed ANOTHER case of chicken pox! Yeah, her Dr was surprised by that as well. Please heal quickly.

Get better soon. A co-worker got them this year, before him I had never even heard of them.

I know people that have had them but I have never had them so I can't offer any advice other than, take her meds, get plenty of rest, and hopefully you will have a speedy recovery.
