    Default Cider Vinegar

    For those of you who use it for whatever reason, here's a recipe that you might try.

    I haven't tried it yet. If you do, let me know how it tastes.

    Ginger Water

    Ingredients

    * 3/4 cup brown sugar
    * 1 teaspoon ginger (powdered)
    * 1/2 cup cider vinegar
    * 1 quart water

    Directions

    1
    Dissolve the sugar and ginger in the vinegar.

    2
    Shake with cold water.

    3
    Serve chilled by itself or mixed 1:1 with ginger ale.

    Sounds like a Little House on the Prairie recipe I once had. They'd make it for Pa when he was working in the fields because he could drink all he wanted and not get a stomach ache.

    Actually if you follow the link, the submitter mentions that that's where he/she got it.
