Default Oh Boy arm broken + gross info

I am home after having surgery on my broken arm. I fell off a ladder. Apparently you have 2 large bones in your forearm and I broke both. 1 was no longer connected to my wrist/hand and the other had impaled itself through my wrist and hand. What an ordeal. I guess when something gross like that happens those involved like to show people the x-rays. I saw them and all
I can say is yucky-poo! Now my dh is the greatest, willing to do anything for me,
having said that his is a huge klutz, bless his heart. Nothing he does to help me doesn't end without a bump still I am lucky to have him.
I am having to type with one arm, dss will be here Monday so I hope he can set me up some speech to type software.

My hair is so yucky, I have a hairdresser friend coming to help figure out how to wash it

A special thanks to those who help me to save my Ju Ju

A warm welcome to all the new members as it is too much to welcome them individually.

Forgot to mention, that because of this I am officially off duty for Christmas and household duties

I go the 18th to get my cast put on.
I sure missed you all, as FV is part of my daily routine

I have been the klutz trying to help DW when she was on one leg. The upside is that he will appreciate more what you do around the house. I can still remember being amazed at how much stuff has to be done each day.

I cringe even hearing about it. How is it stabilized without a cast? Those bumps must be world class ouchies.

Take care and take full advantage of your expected, if painful, "vacation."

Get well soon, and think of it this way....now is your chance to whine and complain! (enjoy it, it doesn't happen often!) Take good care and treat yourself to plenty of rest. It really will help the healing......Best wishes. May good health be yours again soon.

That same thing happened to my middle son but in a soccer game he was slidetackled from behind very dirty. Glad we weren't there. He had to have micro surgery 4 hrs. His are looked like a watermelon and broke his wrist too. He healed up fast Thank God! He has one doozie of a scar. Now he can't get into the military oh well. Hope you heal fast. He didn't have a cast just 2 pins in his wrist a soft cast.
