My son's adult teeth came in this way. The baby teeth eventually fell out and the adult teeth moved into the right place. No intervention was needed.
My 7yo is the same way. Almost every single tooth he has lost (6 to date) he has had his adult tooth pop up behind it before the baby tooth was even loose. Right now he has an incisor that has an adult tooth behind it, so he's been working on loosening his baby tooth.

In fact, his very first tooth he lost....we didn't even know it was loose until he came up to me one day and said there was something hard "stuck" behind his tooth (lower front). I looked and it was his tooth! I was so astonished I took a picture of it...
