    Default Website: Your Healthy Weight

With all the challenges going on regarding weight loss and/or physical activity, I was wondering how many of us know what our "Healthy Weight" range is? I had an idea but found this site that confirmed I was in the ballpark for my goals, but it also has eating and physical activity advice. I cruised around the site and found some interesting Q & A topics( I love reading Q&A)!

Thanks for the link. My doctor and I discussed what my healthy weight should be about 6 months ago. I'll be checking out the link later.

I'm 5'9", so 125 lbs would look HORRIBLE on me. I've dropped as low as 115 before, and I did not look good at all. I'm surprised people didn't give me bags of rice on the street. On the other hand, I start to look heavy at 150 lbs, at least with the muscle tone I have right now.

I have large bone structure so I look pretty sick at 130.

If I could get back down there, 150-160 would look good on me.

Mine was 98 to 127. I weigh 125, yes I could lose 10-15 pounds. I did weigh 105 a couple of years ago and people thought I was sick and some even starting talking (behind my back) that I had a eating disorder. Think this gives you a range but everyone is built different and we "really" do know what weight we feel best at. Even though we may deny it. lol

Mine says between 95lbs and 127lbs. I'm short 5 feet even and I don't think I could ever get down to 95lbs. I would like to get down to around 115.

My range was also between 111 and 150. I think the ranges are so wide so as to take into consideration BMI ( 20 to 25 average ). Also we all know personally where we feel good in our range. I'm over 150 right now but for many years was at 125 to 130 and I felt and looked my best in this range. I was down to 95lbs for a year and under 120 for a few years and was not "healthy" looking in the least in my eyes. But in saying all this my reason for Starting the Wii Fit Challenge was not due to low self esteem in regards to my "Body Image", it was to get moving, get stronger and healthy! I'm lucky that my size doesn't neccessarily dictate my self esteem, I decided years ago that whatever my body size was that I would dress it lovingly and be thankful that it all worked!

Mine says I should weigh between 101 and 136. I'm in that range, so that's good. I have a really small frame so every pound shows! Thanks for sharing the link...it looks like an interesting site.

Mine says I should weigh between 125 and 169. I haven't seen numbers that low since I was 17. Right now I'd be happy to hit 175.

Mine is 101 to 136 which means my goal weight is at the very high end of thier spectrum. That's ok though as I do have big bones and generally tend to "muscle".

According to your height, your healthy weight range should be between 108 lb and 145 lb.

I dont know that I could ever get down that low. I was 160 in highschool but I also had alot of muscle at the time.
