trampoline/rebounder
I'm thinking about selling my treadmill and purchasing one of those mini trampolines. Some of them come with a video. I don't mind the treadmill, but it's a little too hard on my joints. I would like to hear from anyone who has experience with these trampolines.

I enjoy using mine (but like all exercise equipment, i don't use it regularly). It is much nicer on the knees and hips and you can boost your workout by adding ankle or arm weights.
I might have to pull it out of the closet again.

My dh uses the rebounder more than me he really enjoys it. They say that it's good for your lymp system to get it moving the bad stuff out of you. I can't jump now cause I had my veins worked on and it's not good for that but will when they heal up. All you do is 10-25 min a day of jumping you can split it up and it really give you a workout and no stress on the joints either.

I had one given to me years ago but didn't know how to use it. I'd try asking for one on freecycle. Mine was left outside and rusted so we tossed it.

The small trampolines killed my hips, knees and ankles...it was just too jarring on them!
So, we got one of the HUGE ones and I love it, It really does help a lot and is not painful from the jarring!

I have the urban rebounder...We actually bought it as an indoor trampoline for the kids a few years ago for Christmas, but I wound up being the one who used it the most. Now that I have my treadmill, I don't use the trampoline almost at all.
I will say that it is great on the joints and I enjoyed it a lot. I had the dvd that went with it, and using that, I definitely got a good workout. My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com
