    Default Changing diapers often!!! Warning, sort of gross!!

    My dd is 16 months old and has at least 5 watery stool diapers, today!! These diapers have caused 2 blowouts through the diaper and into her pants. Now, she has a slight fever, 99.2!! If you were to look at her and be around her, you would never know that she was having this issue. We are giving her gatorade, so that she doesn't get dehydrated, but I am wondering if there is anything else I do for her!!

    I gave her tyenol about 30 minutes ago, she is eating pretty well!! I am pretty sure that she is just getting her back molars in, but she won't let me have a look to see!!

    She already has a pretty good diaper rash going from her watery poop, which I am treating. Is there a way to stop her from pooping so much??

    Gatorade is not necessary, water is the best bet. Stick to Brat diet foods- bananas, rice, apples, and toast.

    Bananas
    Rice
    Applesauce
    Toast

    Works every time.

    Poor baby, though. Matty just went through it a few weeks ago and his poor little bottom was so sore. Time for extra hugs and kisses.

    There is a virus that only presents as diarrhea w/ no vomiting. If you want to dilute apple juice or Gatorade that'd be fine. But until the runs stop I'd stick to the BRAT diet.
