That is fantastic and not having anymore pain and you will have a beautiful smile. You will have to change your avatar to one that has a huge smile. Best of luck.

Hope everything goes well! I'm sure you're very excited. I know I would be.
Question.. Are they all tied together or something... dental problems, heart problems, infections? Makes me concerned as I have many dental problems as of the last year and I'm concerned about financing a new smile at this time. It's been in the back of my mind that it could cause other problems if I didn't take care of it soon. Probably need to start focusing on that.Last edited by writtenonmybody; 02-22-2009 at 12:01 PM.

There's all kinds of studies that link gum disease and heart disease. Here's a link:

Since I have gum disease, it's something that I worry about! btw, whatever you may think, flossing is WAY easier than any treatment for gum disease!

Mine is a genetic dental bone desease, I can have a perfectly beautiful white tooth with no visible problems be completely rotted inside and go straight into my blood stream and I am in the ER near stroking out!!
Mine cannot be fixed, I have tried for many years to fix it, my father lost his teeth to it when he was 14 and my grand father on my mothers side lost his to the same when he was 17, So I have made it to 37!
But yes, the resperatory, sinus and ear infections, the heart and other problems are attributed to the inheritance of the desease which will be gone in 8 days 13 hours and 33 minutes!!!!

Oh how I understand you! I to have had the trouble of bad teeth.
I don't for one minute regret getting rid of mine at 25 years old! But the sad fact is I waited to long and it left me with a heart murmur from all the infection. I am so glad you will be getting rid of those teeth, people that have never had that problem looked at me like I was nuts to have my teeth pulled at such a young age...... I only wish I had done it sooner so I didn't have the health problems it left me with.
Your in my thoughts and prayers that all goes well......
