Thanks alot........Just talked to my son....... I guess I'm pulling an all nighter. He also has a 19 month old little girl so now I'm watching her. The er Drs have been alerted and the Dr taking care of Shaunee expects to see the baby in the hospital...... They live with me so its easier on me to check on the baby. My son throught they were going to let Shaunee come home tomorrow but they aren't now. Still can't break her fever. Shes not eating or drinking so now she has the IVs. I just hope and pray the baby doesn't get it.

How scary! My oldest had RSV when he was about a year old. It was the scariest thing I have ever been through with my kids.
We woke up to a fever of 104, that wouldn't come down. He ended up spending 2 days in the hospital in an oxygen tent-like thing. It's a scary thing, but the fact that they took her into the ER when they did means all should be well!
RSV has great success rates when parents recognize the signs and symptoms and don't just chaulk it up to the cold or flu! So kudos to your son and his wife for taking her in!
They'll get the fever down soon, and she'll be home in a day or so and be back to running around like the mad woman that I'm sure she is!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery of your granddaughter.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Prayers for a speedy recovery. My 4th child ended up having RSV when he was 3 weeks old. I was pretty upset during that time and few weeks post-partum didn't help must.
