Ouch !!!!!!!!
I was picking cattails with a friend today, we wanted them for making centerpieces for our holiday tables, well I put them in a bag and carried them into her house, I felt like something hit me in the eye, when I realized the reed from one of them scratched my eyeball...... I'm ok, but it's so irritating and I feel like something is in it, but there isn't... The nurse at the Dr's office said if it's not bleeding and I can see, the natural saline in my eye would heal and prevent infection.... I just wanted to whine.... I am inaudible when I whine here at home....

Oh Lori I feel for you! When Squeaky was a kitten she walked on my face while I was sleeping, of course that made me open my eyes and I got a huge scratch across my cornea! I had to use 2 kinds of goop and couldn't work for 4 days (I couldn't see to drive) and it was very painful!
Hope your eye feels better soon!

that is strange, just yesterday, my bil got sawdust in his eye and had to go to the emergency room. we went to their house for dinner last night and he had a patch over his eye! so dd wouldn't be afraid of him, we called him "captain feather sword." her favorite show is "the wiggles," so it was kinda funny. she was fine with it, although he did take it off while we were there. anyway, hope you are feeling better soon!!
